Who We Are
The WCPA is a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization formed in 1995 to benefit Wayland families by promoting social interaction and by sponsoring educational and fundraising events.
We recognize that it can be difficult to get to know other families with young children in any community, so we offer programs that provide parents and children the opportunity to establish new friendships, explore area resources and get involved with the community.
Through our fundraisers, we are able to donate funds to local nonprofit and civic organizations. Past beneficiaries have included Wayland Youth and Family Services, Wayland Library's Children's Programs, Parmenter/Wayside Hospice and Wayland's Parks and Recreation Department.
In addition to fundraisers, the WCPA continually looks for other ways to have a positive impact on our community, such as offering programs that reach out to our senior population, and co-sponsoring events with other area nonprofits.
