The WCPA is thrilled to be partnering with My Brother’s Table Food Pantry again this year to provide meals for local families this Thanksgiving. As we did last year, we are asking the WCPA community to collect non-perishable items to fulfill the holiday meal needs for local families or make a donation to be put towards gift cards at local grocery stores.

We encourage you to invite your children to participate in grocery shopping (in-person or online) for another family during the month of November. This is a great time to start early discussions about giving to others with even our youngest members. Feel free to include some of your family’s favorite non-perishable groceries to share as well!

Please sign-up to either:

  • Fulfill holiday non-perishable needs for a family of two, four or six (approx cost $65 - $125). After registering for this option, you'll receive an email where you can select the size family size you'd like to purchase on behalf of. See below for details on holiday meal box items.

OR

  • Provide a monetary donation for grocery gift cards. Upon registering for this option, you'll be emailed a link to make a custom donation. Donations will be used to purchase gift cards that My Brother’s Table will use to support the needs of local families this holiday season and throughout the year.

Each Thanksgiving meal box will need to be dropped off on Nov 14th or 15th (details provided upon registration) and should include the following:

  • One gift card to Stop and Shop or Donelan’s, witch will be used to purchase a turkey and other items

    • $25 for a family of 2

    • $35 for a family of 4

    • $50 for a family of 6

  • Stuffing mix

  • Gravy or turkey broth (prefer no glass)

  • Canned or boxed sweet or regular potatoes

  • A quick bread mix or biscuit/roll mix

  • Canned pumpkin or canned fruit pie filling

  • Pie crust mix

  • Cranberry sauce

  • Fresh or canned vegetables

  • Fresh or canned sweet potatoes

  • Fresh or boxed potatoes
